# Questions to settle before paying for a visit.

Ask what the visit can cover, who will assess you and what happens after that discussion.

## Who can I speak with?

### An online visit

A care discussion at a distance is called telehealth; it might use video, a telephone or messages.

Ask whether you can discuss your symptoms and other treatment options, even if Semax is not offered.

### An in-person discussion

Ask a local clinic whether a visit can assess the concern behind your interest in Semax. Bring a short account of what has changed and what you hope to address.

### Can the doctor care for me where I am?

The doctor’s licence or other practice permission must cover your state during an online visit, under guidance checked on September 26, 2026.

Name the state you plan to be in during the appointment. Ask the service to confirm the doctor can practise there.

How do I check the name?

Use the medical board directory below to find your state’s board, then open its own doctor lookup. The board’s public record says whether the doctor’s licence is active and lists any action the board has published against the doctor.

For pharmacy licence checks, follow the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) link below to your state’s records.

Compounding means a pharmacist makes a medicine from ingredients for a patient. Raw Semax was not allowed for that use under the U.S. rules checked on September 30, 2026. Ask the pharmacy to name the rule it says allows its proposed product.

### What about a research-labelled offer?

The Semax record reviewed on September 30, 2026 includes online products labelled for research rather than patient care.

That is a reason to step back from the offer and ask a clinician about care for your symptoms.

## What will it cost?

### What is the U.S. Semax price?

There is no approved U.S. Semax product with a maker’s list price or government price to quote, as of September 30, 2026.

Ask what each part of the quoted bill covers before agreeing to it. Ask for separate amounts for:

- The visit itself.

- Any tests the clinician requests.

- Follow-up visits or a repeating membership.

- Any product and delivery charges in the offer.

### Can my insurance pay?

Ask your plan about the visit and any tests separately from a proposed product. Request a written answer, including what needs the plan’s consent beforehand.

What if there is no prescription?

Ask whether you still owe the visit fee if the clinician gives you no prescription. Also ask how to cancel, whether a fee repeats, and who handles questions afterwards.
